Information for applicants
Send the Veteran Support Rapid Reaction association a short application via the form on this page. Note the following premises:
- The applicant must have served abroad on behalf of a Swedish government agency.
- The economic problem must be of an urgent nature
The association's purpose is not to be confused with an alternative to, for example, the Social Services' livelihood support, but rather provides emergency and short-term financial assistance to veterans abroad.
We also want to make applicants aware that grants paid through VRR are counted as the applicant's other assets and can therefore affect the right to, for example, income support.
The association cannot guarantee assistance to those who apply, but promises to do our utmost to help according to our ability and where we can. Decisions about assistance are made by majority decision of the board and the board's decisions on granted and rejected applications cannot be appealed.
Our ambition is to provide feedback on received applications within five days from the application date.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
By applying for a grant, you agree that we will contact you to discuss your application and that if a grant is granted, the association may publish a short anonymized description to our donors regarding the funds disbursed. An application also means that you agree that the association can describe the matter, in anonymized form, for example in the association's Facebook group and here on the website, in order to try to persuade more donors to financially assist the association's relief activities. Din ansökan kommer ej att påverkad din kreditvärdighet.
Payment of support
Note that if approved, VRR rarely pays out money in cash to the applicant. VRR contacts creditors etc. and settles the debt directly with them in consultation with the applicant.
